Augustine Ojagberovwe Avwunufe


Augustine Ojagberovwe Avwunufe is a financial services and business consultant with excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and stakeholder management skills with over 30 years of experience in the Financial Services Sector.

His other areas of expertise include agriculture, livelihoods, microfinance, rural economy, capacity building, training, advocacy, project feasibility, monitoring, evaluation, policy, research, analysis, the private sector, social enterprise and corporate social responsibility.

Augustine is currently engaged as the Managing Consultant at Fairdeal Investment Limited, a financial services consulting firm. In this role, he has been responsible for instituting, developing and nurturing a best practice consulting outfit in the last 8 years.


Kunle Akinniran

Managing Director / CEO

Kunle Akinniran is the Managing Director/CEO of Vatebra Limited. He was appointed to the board in 2006, then Fleet technologies Limited.

Prior to his role at Vatebra, He was a former Group Head, IT at defunct Fountain Trust Bank. In 2001, he led the team that successfully implemented the Bankmaster/Branchpower banking application. He was also a member of the committee that pioneered the delivery of scratch card based on-line solution in Nigeria. A novel solution that pushed the business frontier of Vatebra Limited across countries in the West-African region including Ghana, Sierra-Leone and The Gambia.  In 1989, he served as a consultant with the Nigerian Agip Oil Company and later joined Abacus Merchant Bank Ltd where he rose to the level of Head, Information Technology.


Mike Aigbe

Deputy Managing Director

Mike Aigbe is the Deputy Managing Director at Vatebra Limited, he is responsible for planning the business direction, product development, marketing and relationship management for the Company.

He coordinates both the local and offshore business relationships of Vatebra Limited, including Abuja, Ghana, Kenya, Sierra Leone and The Gambia.

Prior to joining Vatebra, he had worked with Fidelity Bank, Standard Trust Bank (now UBA), Societe Generale Bank (Heritage Bank) and Guardian Express Bank (a member bank of Enterprise Bank).


Oluremi Bendega


Oluremi Bendega started her IT career as a programmer with Union bank and became Head, Information technology department in Nigeria Merchant Bank. She joined Societe General Bank (Now Heritage Bank) as Head, IT User Support and later moved to IT consulting where she became Head, Banking Systems Group at a Banking Systems Consulting firm (Pharez Consulting) evaluating IT systems and security designs.

She is a Management staff with First Bank of Nigeria Limited and responsible for Electronic Solutions Audit in Internal Audit Department. She is vast in Information Technology Governance, Risk Management and Compliance. She has reviewed Digital Initiatives, Program/Project Designs and Execution.


Oluwole Adeoye


Oluwole Adeoye has worked as an Audit Senior with Ernst and Young from 1993 to 1996. He then joined British Airways where he rose to the position of Head Internal Control in West Africa and Financial Analysis Manager in charge of budget preparation and implementation in West Africa within 5 years. In 2006, he was appointed as the Regional Finance Manager for West Africa (the first non-expatriate in over 20 years).

In this role, he re-engineered the Finance Department, redefined the roles and changed the structure of the department. A structure that was later adopted across Central Asia, South Asia, Middle East and Africa. Over the next 5 years, he successfully projects managed the hubbing of Ghana and Nigeria Finance processes into the South Africa hub. He was thereafter appointed as a member of the committee that harmonized Finance procedures in British Airways across Asia Pacific and Africa.
